When it comes to inventing, many of your fellow innovators will tell you persistence is key, and Judy Knez is a true testament. We’re excited to announce her first licensing deal with Health Enterprises!
Judy was introduced to Edison Nation back in 2008 by her son and fellow member, Greg Myracle, who has been a great, positive resource as she has become acquainted with the inventing process.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Judy spent most of her adult life in Northern Virginia where she was an investigative analyst in Washington, D.C. She and her husband retired to southwest Florida, where Judy enjoys her time on the beach and volunteering with local groups and organizations.
Even though she was a long-time member of Edison Nation, it wasn’t until she woke up one morning with a bad pain in her toe that she had her BING! moment. She looked for a device to provide her with some relief, but nothing existed to help. The proverb that necessity is the mother of invention definitely holds true for Judy!
When the Health Enterprises Footcare search launched on Edison Nation Medical, Judy jumped at the chance to submit!
When asked what advice she could share for those of you looking to score that licensing deal, Judy offered,
“Strive to stay positive, have a lot of patience, and adhere to the advice of Sir Winston Churchill, ‘Never, never, never, never give up.’”
Congratulations Judy! If Judy’s licensing success has inspired your own invention ideas, you are in luck. Health Enterprises has teamed up with Edison Nation to find meaningful new consumer healthcare innovations.
