Many innovations have made their way through the Everyday Edisons studio doors. But, one might argue that there’s never been one causing quite a buzz, as the latest addition to our staff break room, the Coca-Cola Freestyle® machine from our Everyday Edisons Season 4 Technology Partners, Coca-Cola!
If you thought this was a place where innovation flowed and tough decisions took place before, just imagine the environment with 100+ brands to choose from and endless drink recipes to create! 
And while this machine is every soda or flavored water-lover’s dream, perhaps, most intriguing is the story behind its invention. Here are just a few cool facts:
- It is the first fountain soda machine daring to go beyond the average limit of 6-8 consumer choices
- The machine took 204 world-class experts from across the country and 4 years to develop
- It was designed by Italian design firm, Pininfarina – Yep, it’s practically a Ferrari!
- It won a Gold Award (the highest honor) at the 2011 Edison Awards in the “New Retail Frontiers” category
